It was a wonderful week for restaurants across the Tennessee Valley. There are no failing scores this week.

A motel in Cleveland nearly failed its inspection when the inspector found bed bugs.

Applegate Motel on APD 40 scored a 77.

The inspector said there were no hangers in the rooms.

They noted that in two of the rooms the smoke detector was not working.

Three rooms were found to have bed bugs, and the inspector said professional treatment must be performed before renting the room again.

A live roach was seen by the inspector in room 128.

The floor was found to be dirty and walls were in poor repair.

It is important to note a 77 is not a failing score.

There is also an update on last weeks failing score.

Fulins Asian Cuisine received an 89 on its follow-up inspection.

If you have a question about a restaurant, hotel, pool or gym call your local health department.
