Family Takes 4 years to Eliminate Bed Bug Infestation …

A Utah family has recently resolved a four year long battle with bed bugs in their home. It all started when a husband and wife opened their home to two autistic grandchildren. Before visiting their home the autistic children were staying in a cheap motel. During this period of time the children ended up picking up bed bugs that got into their clothing and suitcases right before they moved into their grandparents home.

After the children moved into the home it took a couple months until the grandparents started noticing bites all over their body. Without the financial resources to hire a pest control company, the grandparents were prisoners in their own homes.

Theres no way to get rid of them, the grandmother explained, saying the hardest part was putting her grandchildren to bed every night knowing the bugs would surely get them. Theyd wake up in the night and scream theres a bug on my bed!

Without the money to pay for professional bed bug treatments, the infestation grew so bad that the family felt like prisoners, held captive in their own home by an unwanted guest.

Spraying pesticides, even repeatedly letting off bug bombs, didnt stop the multiplying parasites.

We would do it and two weeks later they were back and we would do it and two weeks later they were back, she said of their efforts to kill the bed bugs.
