The room was unlocked when we arrived, dirty room including the bed and floor. I was sitting on the bed and seen a bedbug crawling right underneath the sheet. I got transferred to another room but would never stay at that dirty place again. Terrible service and way overpriced. read full report

Bed Bugs Plague Odessa Apartment Complex Says Resident, My Cleaning Products Recommends a Spray to Help Kill Bed Bugs …

Odessa, TX (PRWEB) January 08, 2014

A report said that a bed bug infestation was scourging an apartment complex in Odessa, Texas. Responding to it, My Cleaning Products then suggested a pesticide-exempt bed bug spray to help the public kill bed bugs safely.

The report, which was published by newswest9.com on January 03, 2014, relayed that Nicholas Moore, a resident of the complex for three years, said that the bed bug problem in the place got worse over the years, My Cleaning Products shared. He said that because of it he was even forced to throw away his furniture.

Nonetheless, based on the post, the management of the housing was not doing anything to resolve the problem, MCP said. Additionally, it relayed that the Ector County Health Department stated they couldn't do anything about it considering that the building is a private property. It was a matter, the department said, between the landlord and the tenants.

Here is an excerpt from the post Bed Bugs Scourging an Apartment in Odessa by My Cleaning Products:

Bed bugs used to be just characters in a rhyme. But these days, they have become a real scare. And that's because they are now so prevalent that you could pick them up almost everywhere without even knowing. In addition, their presence brings a lot of unpleasant things. And among those who had experienced them were Nicholas Moore and his family.

According to Moore, their unit in Houston Arms Apartments in Texas is plagued by tiny vampires. He said, they have been living in the complex for three years and its bed bug problem has just gotten worse over the years.

Being small and fast-paced makes it easy for those critters to spread, My Cleaning Products said. And that, it stated, is made even much easier for them by apartment complexes because of the arrangement of the units.

However, it cited that those pests are so prevalent these days that whether a person lives in an apartment or not, he or she must be ready to get rid of bed bugs. And to be really prepared to do it, it said that one must have a Bed Bug Bully.

Being a bed bug spray, it said that Bed Bug Bully could make it fast and easy for anyone to eliminate the pest effectively. And because it is organic-based and a product that is in EPA's FIFRA 25(b) list, it stated the public could rest assured that it also would make the process safe for health and even the environment.

Arrow Exterminators, Inc. : Bed Bug Control

Bed bugs are all over the news these days. From the upscale hotels on the east coast to the dorms of Oklahoma State University, the bed bugs are biting. The prevailing thought is that, after decades of effective bed bug control in America, bed bugs are coming with travelers from Asia and Eastern Europe. With more than 50 years of Oklahoma pest control experience, we know what it takes to keep you tucked in, sleeping tight without the bed bugs biting.

Bed bugs usually bite people at night as their victim sleeps. They feed by piercing the skin with an elongated beak through which they withdraw blood. Bed Bugs tend to bite us on any part of the body, whereas mosquito bites are usually on the feet and ankles. They will suck for up to 10 minutes before retreating from your skin to digest their new meal. Bed Bugs in Oklahoma are about 3/16 of an inch long with reddish-brown, flattened oval bodies. They are sometimes mistaken for ticks or cockroaches. Bed bugs do not fly but can move rapidly over floors, walls, ceilings and other surfaces on their way to feasting on your blood.

What is the best method of bed bug control? Believe it or not, some people try to protect themselves by applying conventional insect repellents. Mosquito and tick repellents are ineffective as bed bug control, and you won't fool them by sleeping with the lights on either.

The most successful bed bug control method involves the proper application of heat. We're not talking about turning up your thermostat. Call our bed bug control experts today. We'll have you or your guests sleeping soundly!

Studies show that bed bugs, in all life style stages, can't survive heat over 122F.

The process starts by applying heat over 122F and not to exceed 135F, we then monitor using wireless sensors to ensure the temperatures are lethal enough to the bed bugs but not harming the current atmosphere or bed. Lastly, we move air using high powered fans to make sure we get the heat into all cracks of the bed to make sure every last bed bug is gone.

Arrow Exterminators is the only company in Oklahoma using state of the art Thermal Remediation technology which is proven to irradicate Bed bugs. The state of Idaho i /adho/ is a state in the Pacific Northwest region of the United States of America. The state's largest city and capital is Boise. Residents are called "Idahoans." Idaho was admitted to the Union on July 3, 1890 as the 43rd state.

Idaho is a mostly mountainous state, with an area larger than all of New England. It is landlocked, surrounded by the states of Washington, Oregon, Nevada, Utah, Wyoming, Montana and the Canadian Province of British Columbia. However, the network of dams and locks on the Columbia River and Snake River make the city of Lewiston the farthest inland seaport on the west coast of the continental United States.

To residents of the state and regular visitors, Idaho is regarded as a highly outdoors-oriented community. Central Idaho is home to one of North America's oldest ski resorts, Sun Valley, where the world's first chairlift was installed. Snow sports are keystones of Idaho's identity, with a ski resort near almost every urban area. Whitewater rafting and kayaking are among the state's major pastimes. Hell's Canyon and the Salmon River boast some of North America's finest whitewater, with the nearby town of Riggins, ID serving as the state's informal whitewater capital. According to the US Census Bureau, in 2009 the population for Idaho was estimated to be 1,545,801. The state's postal abbreviation is ID. Idaho's nickname is the Gem State because nearly every known gem has been found there. In addition, Idaho is one of only two places in the world where star garnets can be found (the other is the Himalaya Mountains, in India), and is the only place six pointed star garnets have been found. The state motto is Esto Perpetua (Latin for "Let it be forever").

Idaho is the 14th largest state by land area.

Idaho borders six states and one Canadian province. The states of Washington and Oregon are to the west, Nevada and Utah are to the south, and Montana and Wyoming are to the east. Idaho also shares a short border with the Canadian province of British Columbia to the north. The landscape is rugged with some of the largest unspoiled natural areas in the United States. For example, at 2.3 million acres (9,300km), the Frank Church-River of No Return Wilderness Area is the largest contiguous area of protected wilderness in the continental United States. Idaho is a Rocky Mountain state with abundant natural resources and scenic areas. The state has snow-capped mountain ranges, rapids, vast lakes and steep canyons. The waters of Snake River rush through Hells Canyon, the deepest canyon in the United States.

Shoshone Falls plunges down rugged cliffs from a height greater than that of Niagara Falls. The major rivers in Idaho are the Snake River, the Clark Fork/Pend Oreille River, the Clearwater River, the Salmon River. Other significant rivers include the Coeur d'Alene River, the Spokane River, the Boise River, and the Payette River. The Salmon River empties into the Snake in Hells Canyon and forms the southern boundary of Nez Perce County on its north shore, of which Lewiston is the county seat. The Port of Lewiston, at the confluence of the Clearwater and the Snake Rivers is the farthest inland seaport on the West Coast at 465 river miles from the Pacific at Astoria, Oregon.

Idaho's highest point is Borah Peak, 12,662ft (3,859m), in the Lost River Range north of Mackay. Idaho's lowest point, 710ft (216m), is in Lewiston, where the Clearwater River joins the Snake River and continues into Washington. The Sawtooth Range is often considered Idaho's most famous mountain range. Other mountain ranges in Idaho include the Bitterroot Range, the White Cloud Mountains, the Lost River Range, the Clearwater Mountains, and the Salmon River Mountains.

Southern Idaho, including the Boise metropolitan area, Idaho Falls, Pocatello, and Twin Falls are in the Mountain Time Zone. (A legislative oddity (15 U.S.C.ch.6 264) theoretically placed this region in the Central Time Zone, but this error was corrected with a 2007 Amendment.) Areas north of the Salmon River, including Coeur d'Alene, Moscow, Lewiston, and Sandpoint are in the Pacific Time Zone and revolve commercially and culturally around Seattle through the second largest city, Spokane, Washington.

Idaho has much variation in its climate. Although the state's western border is located about 350miles (560km) from the Pacific Ocean, the maritime influence is still felt in Idaho, especially in the winter when cloud cover, humidity, and precipitation are at their highest points. This influence has a moderating effect in the winter where temperatures are not as low as would otherwise be expected for a northern state with a mostly elevated altitude. The maritime influence is lowest in the southeastern part of the state where the precipitation patterns are often reversed, with wetter summers and drier winters, and seasonal temperature differences more extreme, showing a more continental climate.

BedBugs had been a rarity since the 1950's, but since early 2000, they have become a serious pest problem, being encountered in homes, hotels, theaters, furniture stores and office buildings. International travel has contributed greatly to their resurgence. Learn about their Appearance, Habitat, Diet, Health Risks, and Reproduction.

Cimex lectularius

Adult bed bugs are brown to reddish-brown, oval-shaped, flattened, and about 3/16 to 1/5 inch long. Their flat shape enables them to readily hide in cracks and crevices. The body becomes more elongate, swollen, and dark red after a blood meal. Bed bugs have a beak-like piercing-sucking mouthpart system. The adults have small, stubby, nonfunctional wing pads. Newly hatched nymphs are nearly colorless, becoming brownish as they mature. Nymphs have the general appearance of adults. Eggs are white and about 1/32 inch long.

Bed bugs are fast moving insects that are nocturnal blood-feeders: they feed mostly at night when their host is asleep. After using their sharp beak to pierce the skin of a host, they inject a salivary fluid containing an anesthetic and an anticoagulant that helps them obtain blood. Nymphs may become engorged with blood within three minutes, whereas a full-grown bed bug usually feeds for ten to fifteen minutes. They then crawl away to a hiding place to digest the meal. When hungry, bed bugs again search for a host.

Bed bugs hide during the day in dark, protected sites. They seem to prefer fabric, wood, and paper surfaces. They usually occur in fairly close proximity to the host, although they can travel far distances. Bed bugs initially can be found about tufts, seams, and folds of mattresses, later spreading to crevices in the bedstead. In heavier infestations they also may occupy hiding places farther from the bed. They may hide in window and door frames, electrical boxes, floor cracks, baseboards, furniture, and under the tack board of wall-to-wall carpeting. Bed bugs often crawl upward to hide in pictures, wall hangings, drapery pleats, loosened wallpaper, cracks in plaster, and ceiling moldings.

Bed bugs are parasites that preferentially feed on humans. If people aren't available, they instead will feed on other warm-blooded animals, including birds, rodents, bats, and pets.

Their bite is painless due to the anesthetic they inject when they bite. The salivary fluid injected by bed bugs typically causes the skin to become irritated and inflamed, although individuals can differ in their sensitivity. A small, hard, swollen, white welt may develop at the site of each bite. This is accompanied by severe itching that lasts from several hours to days. Scratching may cause the welts to become infected. The amount of blood loss due to bed bug feeding typically does not adversely affect the host.

Rows of three or so welts on exposed skin are characteristic signs of bed bugs. Welts do not have a red spot in the center such as is characteristic of flea bites.

Some individuals respond to bed bug infestations with anxiety, stress, and insomnia. Bed bugs are not known to transmit disease.

Female bed bugs lay from one to twelve eggs per day and the eggs are deposited on rough surfaces or in crack and crevices. The eggs are coated with a sticky substance so they adhere to the substrate. Eggs hatch in 6 to 17 days and nymphs can immediately begin to feed. They require a blood meal in order to molt. Bed bugs reach maturity after five molts. Developmental time (egg to adult) is affected by temperature and takes from about 21 days at 86 F to 120 days at 65 F. The nymphal period is greatly prolonged when food is scarce. Nymphs and adults can live for several months without food. The adult's lifespan may encompass 12-18 months. Three or more generations can occur each year.
