Philadelphia has implemented a new policy in an effort to control the spread of bed bugs. A post from newsworks.org relayed the details of it on April 07, 2014. And wanting to also help the residents in controlling the spread of the critters, My Cleaning Products suggested a pesticide-exempt bed bug spray.

Based on the post, the new rule is particularly about the disposal of mattresses and box springs. It detailed that it was patterned in an NYC policy and took effect in February.

The law, relayed the report, specifically requires the residents to seal the mattress and box spring with a protective wrap before trashing them for pick up. Its purpose is to protect the neighborhood and the garbage collector from direct contact with the pesky creatures, it stated.

However, resident Vivian Van Story said that the policy doesn't work, shared the report. Meanwhile, others as Andrew Dalzell, with the South of South Street Neighborhood Association, said that an adjustment period is necessary for it to work, it relayed.

It can't be denied that bed bugs are even more prevalent these days than few years ago. And so, in an effort to curb their spread, Philadelphia implemented a new policy regarding the disposal of bed-bug-infested mattresses.

In Jefferson City, bed bugs infested two apartment buildings. In connection with it, My Cleaning Products recommended the use of a pesticide-exempt bed bug spray to help the public kill those critters quick and prevent the worst of their effects.

A report from connectmidmissouri.com dated March 28, 2014 said that the two low-income apartment complexes are owned by The Housing Authority. And before this recent outbreak, it related that the buildings have had problems with the crawlies for a number of years in the past.

To resolve the issue, the report relayed that the housing authority treats one to two areas each week as stated by the agency's Executive Director Allen Pollock. It also detailed that when they treat a unit, four more of it are sprayed including the two at both sides, the one below and the other above it.

Residents of one apartment building in Milwaukee claimed that bed bugs were plaguing their building. A report from cbs58.com posted on March 26, 2014, shared the details of the incident. Meanwhile, wanting to help the public avoid the worst effects of the critters, My Cleaning Products shared a number of tips how to kill bed bugs quick.

In the report, the tenants said that the critters had been biting them all over. And to prove it, they showed photos of them and of their kids with bed bug bites.

However, the landlord was doing nothing to solve the problem, relayed the post. Neither was he giving the deposit of the renters back, it added.

When asked for any comment, the report related that the landlord gave none. Nonetheless, it shared that the city has scheduled an in the complex in the coming days.
