We stayed here for one night with a stay, park and sail package that included the shuttle to Cape Liberty Port. Plenty of parking! Hotel check in went smoothly with efficient and professional staff. Yes the room was very tiny, but all we needed for one night. Although it's a non smoking hotel, we did smell smoke coming down from the stairwell. Perhaps people smoke on the roof? Anyway, we closed the door to the stairwell and that took care of the problem. More about the staff! Pam not only welcomed us to the included hot breakfast, made us feel welcome, kept everything well supplied and fresh, but kept her eye on things that gave us confidence in our safety and security, AND came up to the desk and checked us out of the hotel! And of course Frank, our awesome shuttle driver to the Port. He took all the worry about driving through New York and New Jersey away! He kept us entertained with his sense of humour and information about the area. We quickly relaxed and got to know our shuttle mates, including Gary V below. Frank dropped us off at a very convenient location and gave us clear instructions about our pick up. And there he was, exactly a week later, waiting for us! We were all on time, so after hoisting our VERY heavy bags up, we headed back to Comfort Inn Staten Island, laughing and joking the whole time! I wouldn't change a thing about this trip. For Stay, Park and Sail, you can't beat this hotel or the staff, especially Frank and Pam!
