A more accurateway to identify a possible infestation is to look for physical signs of bed bugs.When cleaning, changing bedding, or staying away from home, look for rusty orreddish stains on bed sheets or mattresses (caused by crushed bed bugs), darkspots (bed bug excrement), eggs and eggshells, which are tiny and pale yellow skins that nymphs shed as they grow larger, or look for the more tough tospot but still more obvious presence of live bed bugs.But the best advice is not to guess.
